How do I attach my new lampshade?

Our Paper Lamp lampshades can be attached to any standard lamp holder. Before using your new lampshade, turn off the fuse!

  • Remove bulbs
  • remove old lampshade
  • Put on the Paper Lamp lampshade and attach it.
  • Insert LED bulbs

(Only use LED lamps up to a maximum of 15 watts (equivalent to approx. 100 watts) and low heat development of a maximum of 50 - 60 degrees Celsius. This corresponds to a standard LED lamp)

Does Paper Lamp also have lampshades for easy hanging?

Yes! If you don't have the time or don't like our DIY lampshades , you can also choose an easy-installation lampshade . This variant is already prepared and can be attached to your lamp holder in one easy step. Simply remove the protective layer of the adhesive surface and stick the two ends of the lampshade together. Now thread the cord through the holes provided and hang up your new lampshade.

What paper do we use for our lampshades?

We only use the high-quality and sustainable premium paper Colorplan 270 g to produce our lampshades. The production of this material uses materials from sustainable forests and/or recycled materials as well as materials from controlled sources.

With this material we have the opportunity to offer a wide range of colors and can ensure that our lampshades are durable, sustainable and of high quality.

How much light does the lampshade let through?

The light transmission of Paper Lamp lampshades varies depending on the print motif and color. A light pattern allows for generous light distribution, while a dark pattern allows less light to penetrate the paper. This means you can design the ambience in your room according to your preferences.

Can Paper Lamp lampshades be used for floor lamps?

Our Paper Lamp's are designed as lampshades for hanging lamps and are not tested for use with floor lamps.

With hanging lamps, the lampshade can rest on the socket and thus generate a safe distance from the light source. In order to use our lampshades for floor lamps, you need a way to create a distance between the bulb and the lampshade so that the lampshade can be used safely.

However, we do not currently offer this option and must therefore advise against using it with floor lamps.
